Debra Burk

Manual Osteopathic Therapist (MOT), Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Meet Debra, a Manual Osteopathic Therapist with a focus on CranioSacral Therapy (CST). She has been practicing CST since 2011, completing four core levels from the Upledger Institute, including two levels in Somatic Emotional Release. With over 15 years of experience in Massage Therapy, Debra is passionate about addressing the root causes of disruptions in the body. Using a blend of techniques, she aims to balance the body’s structure and optimize the functions of all body systems. Her treatments emphasize the central nervous system and vagus nerve, helping to regulate the sympathetic (fight, flight, freeze) and parasympathetic (rest and digest) systems. This holistic approach supports the body’s natural ability to correct dysfunction, reduce pain, and reconnect the mind and body. Somatic emotional release may occur during treatments, facilitating the release of stored trauma and enhancing the healing process. Debra’s gentle techniques benefit all ages and address conditions like migraines, anxiety, chronic pain, TMJ, PTSD, and more. Manual Osteopathic Therapy focuses on restoring the balance between structure and function. Techniques like osteoarticulations, fascial release, and lymphatic flow promote relaxation, improve circulation, and restore posture. By calming the nervous system, Debra helps the body heal and function optimally. All ages can benefit from her treatments, which aim to restore health by addressing the root cause of dysfunction rather than just symptoms.
