Meet Bethany! I am a Registered Psychologist with The College of Alberta Psychologists, and a member of The Psychologists Association of Alberta. As a certified Therapeutic Play Practitioner with The Rocky Mountain Play Institute, I work with children and families suffering from anxiety, depression, family transitions (divorce, separation), domestic violence, grief, and developmental trauma. 

As said best by Gary Landreth: “Toys are children’s words and play is their language”.

I am also trained and experienced working with individuals (children, adolescents, and adults) suffering from domestic abuse and relational trauma. Over the past two years, I have worked as a domestic violence therapist in central Alberta and recognize the significant need in our area for therapeutic support. At Tides Center, I aspire to create a safe haven for my clients and their families.
